same behavior w/ pgAdmin4 (8.14) to open an SQL file 1. Use a newer Kate version. The one you are using is not supported anymore 2. We can't anything about the crash. Seems like there is an allocation failure and the program is crashed. Perhaps you ran out of memory (In reply to Waqar Ahmed from comment #2) > 1. Use a newer Kate version. Perhaps you ran out of memory thanks to your response I folllow LTS version Kubuntu, without installing more recent version of each application else, I want to precise that error seems to be general about KDialog: using Kate, or pgAdmin4 version 8.14, or Okular ... best regards same issue as 499410 You can get a newer version here: https://kate-editor.org/get-it/ I doubt it would help. This is not a bug anywhere. Qt just fails to allocate memory for whatever reason and then the program crashes. Maybe your system is broken Or something else, you need to figure it out yourself. But the important thing is, that "we can't do anything about your bug". This is why I closed it earlier. I will leave it open now as I am tired wasting my time already. I will try to understand what happens... Have a good day *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 499410 *** |
