IMO this is impossible to communicate adequately with words alone, and it needs a graphical visualization. I posted one in Bug 466166: https://bugsfiles.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=156967 Ah yeah so specifically, it means that “Press touchpad with two fingers, Middle-click by pressing with three fingers” only applies to the bottom zone of the touchpad.
Even though a visual representation would be great, an alternative wording could work in the meantime:
> Bottom bar with built-in clicks
> ( ) Enable built-in clicks
> Press bottom-right corner to right-click
> Press bottom center to middle-click
> ( ) Use taps (disable built-in clicks)
> Right-click by tapping with two fingers
> Middle-click by tapping with three fingers
I know it may be more complicated in practice, so I’ll leave that as a suggestion to improve upon.
Yeah that won't work, sorry: tap-to-click is independent of the "areas" and "clickfinger" options, which are mutually exclusive. |
