Title text with letter spacing applied is not centered properly, appearing to be too far to the left in the frame.

SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kdenlive, open Title tool
2. Enter title text and apply space between letters w/spacing tool
3. Center text with the button above the Properties tab.

OBSERVED RESULT
Text does not properly center because the space applied to the last character of a line is included in the centering calculation.

Thank you for reporting. I can confirm the "issue". Following your steps.

But this is the correct behavior as space is added to the right of each letter (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter_spacing).
Not possible is Kerning (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerning).

I close this bug as “not a bug”.

The yellow highlighted text in the screenshot is weird as I don’t have this issue on Windows. Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 24.12.1 to see if there are any packaging issues https://kdenlive.org/en/download/
