SUMMARY

The setting to start Haruna in fullscreen mode has no effect. I have tested in Plasma 6.2.5, in both X11 and Wayland.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Settings/General
2. Click the box next to "Start in fullscreen mode"
3. Restart Haruna

OBSERVED RESULT

Haruna opens in a window.

EXPECTED RESULT

Haruna opens fullscreen.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux, kernel 6.12.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This feature has not worked correctly since it was introduced in Haruna 1.3.0 and was not fixed in 1.3.1 or 1.3.2.

It works only when there is a file to play (opening a file from the file manager, or opening the last played file on startup).

For me it works on Haruna 1.3.2!
On Plasma 6.3.0.
On Debian 13 (Trixie) - unstable repository.

Even though a bit weird with a small quirk:
If first opens as a maximized window, so the menu bar is visible and an then it goes into full screen mode.
and yes, it opens likes that only when opening a video file.
Opening just Haruna by itself, without any video, opens in windowed mode, always.
I doesn't seem to remember its maximized state like other KDE programs.
