The problem cannot be reproduced here. I suspect that when you created the new collection you deleted your existing collection and added it again. In fact, the existing collection is then created as a new one with a new ID. That explains why your existing collection disappeared and was rebuilt without the tags. An existing collection can only be edited using the update function (round circle icon). Maik I know it is not reproducible. However, I did not delete an existing collection. I just added the new one. Otherwise, the old images shouldn't be in the albums again. Interestingly, some of the first pictures in one of the albums still had all tags. Only from picture ~200 onwards all tags were lost. This would also argue against replacing an existing collection. I will try to test the collection add-on again to see if I can reproduce this problem. Mik Hi, The 8.7.0 pre-release Windows installer from today have been rebuilt from scratch with Qt 6.8.3, KDE 6.12, OpenCV 4.11 + CUDA support, Exiv2 0.28.5, ExifTool 13.27, ffmpeg 7, all image codecs updated to last version (jxl, avif, heif, aom, etc.). Please try with this version to see if your problem still reproducible... https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Thanks in advance Best regards Gilles Caulier |
