SUMMARY
Debian Trixie App Discovery center offering "Debian GNU/Linux 9 is now available."

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Discover app/center
2. 
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT

green update available notification at the top as written above

EXPECTED RESULT
I don't know but i updated thinking it was related to app packages - i removed some of the sources (after update within the Discover center, (then did a sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade) such as:

There seems to be a bug report in Debian: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1089540

The version with the fix is still still in experimental and not in Debian's unstable or testing archives. Debian Trixie probably get v6.3.0 with this fix in the end of February or try the v6.2.91 in experimental today.

This is fixed by

That was merged into master. As Sven mentioned, this will come to Debian Trixie probably next month.

Even if it was not a bug, so a good and useful upgrade possible information, that notifican should be dismissable.
Not show every single time someone looks for updates without any possibility to turn that notification off.
There are cases when a user cannot upgrade for whatever reason, let's say nor more free space or hardware unsupported and should not be constantly annoying about something that he cannot do or doesn't want to do for whatever reason.

This is due to the way Debian packages Discover. If you would like them to make that dismissable, please ask them through their report bug utility (https://packages.debian.org/stable/utils/reportbug)
