SUMMARY

It is not possible to automatically mount an encrypted drive without user intervention even if password is saved

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Plug in a USB storage device that's LUKS protected with the password already stored

OBSERVED RESULT

Dialog pops up with password already filled in.  Clicking OK mounts the device.

EXPECTED RESULT

At least optionally mount device with no user intervention, as the password for the device is already saved.

With a non-encrypted device, it automatically mounts (that's how I've configured the device manager).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I have filed this issue against KDE4 and KDE5, but as those are no longer supported I'm refiling it against KDE6.  This is admittedly a nuisance issue, but it's a problem for e. g. a headless server running KDE accessible via VNC or the like.
