I cannot reproduce this. Kdenlive perfectly loads the last change to the layout (resized about everything). I am on Pop!_OS 22.04 using 24.12.1 (flatpak). What is your install method for Kdenlive? Have you tried the appimage? > > Same thing. Mmm interesting. The appimage make a mess in my native layout. I fixed it and now it seems to maintain the layout fairly well between restarts. But I have to load the layout in order to have it exactly the same. How do I force kdenlive to load a certain layout at start-up? As first in kdenlive-layoutsrc I already have what I want, but the dimensions of the various elements only came back if I load it explicitly. 🐛🧹 ⚠️ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Open kdenlive 2. change dimensions of some interface element (timeline height, panels wide, preview wide, etc.) 3. close kdenlive 4. start kdenlive again OBSERVED RESULT Interface elements come back as in the first start EXPECTED RESULT Interface elements should maintain their dimensions SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kdenlive: 24.12.1 MLT: 7.30.0 FFmpeg KDE Frameworks: 6.10.0 Qt: Utilizza 6.8.1 e compilato con 6.8.1 Manjaro Linux (Xcb) Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-lp64 Kernel: linux 6.13.0-rc7-1-MANJARO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
