Description Keith Yang 2025-01-11 03:22:14 UTC
I've tried on Intel and M2 macOS, and in both zh_TW and en_US languages.
When I trash an image, it doesn't appear in Trash, which makes its behavior like permanently deletion. No way to find the image back :(

Just tested under my Macbook pro M1, and Item/Move to Trash send items to the digiKam Trash, not the MacOS trash as explained in the online documentation:

https://docs.digikam.org/en/main_window/image_view.html#deleting-a-photograph

I found it's the weird behavior only happened for the iCloud collection.

Virtual placeholder folders are not supported in digiKam. It's explained in the online documentation:

https://docs.digikam.org/en/setup_application/collections_settings.html#the-network-shares-specificity
