No exif Metadata is shown, if jpg-file is stored on an Ubuntu-Server, connected via cifs. 
Locally stored pictures do NOT show this issue.
Btw. former Linux -Installation with Kubuntu 20.04 and Dolphin 19.12.3 works well and shows ALL exif-data.

How have you accessed the CIFS share? BY browsing to an smb:// URL in Dolphin? Or by manually mounting the share as a local folder in /etc/fstab or another method, and then browsing to that location in Dolphin?

Both methodes show the same behavior. Wondering, that my old setup with 20.04 and Dolphin 19.12.3 working as expected. Could not yet found the 19.12.3 deb-file, so I would try to install that version temporary.
