I'm not sure of the exact trigger, but what I did was to open an application RMB menu, then immediately cancel it with ESC (I'm not 100% sure it even showed) then I hit META to open the shell launcher menu - which didn't open, instead the desktop froze (including no mouse movement) for about half a minute and then everything died.

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.

We'll see - first time one seen an actual kwin crash in quite a while - but I'm not hopeful
