Thank you for reporting. If the AppImage is working then it’s a packaging issue. Kdenlive team cannot influence the packager. Please contact the Debian packager team for solve the issue.
It seems some xml file is not proper packed ("frei0r.alpha0ps_alpha0ps" : "/usr/share/kdenlive/effect-templates/secondary_color_correction_v2.xml")
