The Thunar file manager has an option that can be enabled to automatically compare checksums after each file has been copied in order to verify the copy was successful. It can be enabled, disabled, enabled only for external devices and remote locations. It would be nice to have that in Dolphin.

This would be a KIO feature, not specific to Dolphin.
