SUMMARY
I think it's not very intuitive for a user to understand they need to press enter before they can log in with their fingerprint, especially since there is already a part of the lock screen that always says "(or scan your fingerprint on the reader)". I would like if the lock screen would unlock upon the fingerprint being scanned, without any prior inputs required. If this isn't doable, mouse or keyboard input to bring up the login dialog and activate the fingerprint reader would be a good compromise.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Activate the lock screen by closing your laptop's lid or pressing meta + L
2. Move the mouse to bring up the login dialog
3. Scan your fingerprint on the reader

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens until you press enter, in which case you have to re-scan

EXPECTED RESULT
The fingerprint should be scanned and unlock the system.
