Video demonstrating the incorrect behavior
|
Created attachment 176961 [details] Video demonstrating the incorrect behavior SUMMARY When opening something in the global menu, hovering over any of the other menu options closes the existing menu but does not open the new menu. For example after clicking on "File", if one then hovers over "Edit", the "File" menu closes but the "Edit" menu does not open. An additional click is required to get the "Edit" menu to appear. This behavior is different since Plasma 6.2 and only on Wayland. On X11, the menu behaves like it did in previous releases. A video demonstrating the behavior is attached. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Click on one of the top-level menu items (such as "File") 2. Move the cursor to hover over a different top-level menu item (such as "Edit") 3. Observe that although the first menu has closed, the currently-hovered-over menu does not open. OBSERVED RESULT The clicked-on menu closes. EXPECTED RESULT The clicked-on menu closes _and_ the currently-hovered-over menu opens.
