Günther, this is more of a user question than a bug. We use this tool for bug tracking only. May I redirect you to the forum at https://discuss.kde.org/tag/kmymoney where we support this kind of question? Hope you don't mind. And since you mention that you don't see the file in another application (or whatever NEMO is) either: your problem does not seem to be related to KMyMoney. If you reformat your memory stick under Linux (preferably with FAT32) and then write to it under Windows it will have a good chance of working.
