SUMMARY

I am struggling on a slow remote linux session over vnc. Key presses tend to turn into duplicates. This doesn't happen 100%, but happens often enough to make it very difficult to type anything.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect to remote linux over vnc
2. Type in some text

OBSERVED RESULT

Duplicate letters, numbers etc.

EXPECTED RESULT

Typing produces normal text with no duplicates.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Client is latest Arch, server is Ubuntu 24 noble X11 xfce

I moved to a different vnc server setup and this is no longer an issue.
