plugging hdmi tv to laptop causing overscale remaining virtual dektops, which shouldnt? Also because of that task icons are being reduced
on both wayland and x11
proper way:
1. dont overscale remaining virtual screens which they dont work anyway
2. this will prevent icons reduction

What appears to be going on here is that the Pager widget is very wide because you just so happen to have a horizontal arrangements of virtual desktops, a horizontal panel, and an ultrawide screen.

From that perspective, this is intentional, even if it's a somewhat unfortunate combination.

Or are you saying that the screen you plugged in is *not* an ultrawide screen and the virtual desktop representations in the Pager widget are not reflecting the actual screen aspect ratio?
