Sometimes the program crashes when I go to start recording a voice clip while editing.  After it crashes, I often can't get back into the file and have to start all over.  I tried resetting the settings.

Totally rebooting the PC sometimes works, sometimes not in being able to reload a work in progress.  I've resorted to saving before I do a voice over.  Note that sometimes the voice record works, sometimes not.  I've checked to see if it's working in windows before trying it on the system, so the mike is working in windows.

We fixed some recording issues lately.
Please try with the current Kdenlive version 24.12.0 to see if the recording problem still exist: https://kdenlive.org/en/download/
