SUMMARY

Display of RAW files is slow and uses a large amount of CPU


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Browse a directory of RAW files
2.  Choose a particular file to display

OBSERVED RESULT

Gwenview takes a substantial time to display the file, and uses a substantial amount of CPU


EXPECTED RESULT

Instant display of the file,

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Should Gwenview display the embedded JPG in the RAW file, or use the GPU for raw conversion?

Thanks for the bug report - merging this into the existing issue where RAW file performance work is being tracked
