Changing colour profile to another one fixed the issue, now I can see selected text. But it's still not clear to me which setting controls it. Hi - the setting you're looking for is inside the Profile editing window. In the Appearance section on the sidebar, click the "Miscellaneous" tab and check the box "Always invert the colors of selected text". With that setting enabled, the current default Breeze color scheme will also show inverted colors for selected text. |
Created attachment 176763 [details] screenshot of the problem Hello, switching to plasma6, the selected text in konsole went to inverting colours to making them very slightly different. I presume the decision was made because it looks very nice on a designer's screen. But on my screen in broad daylight it's not very easy to tell which text I selected. I looked into the settings but I found nothing to change how selected text looks like, so it doesn't seem anything that a user can fix for themselves. Best :)
