If manually or automatically, the screen is locked 
when you unlocked the screen there is no more desktop, just a black foreground and the window of the current app.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock the screen or let the screen locked automatically
2. unlock the screen
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT

there is no more desktop

EXPECTED RESULT

the desktop is still there

Do you  have multiple screens, or just one?

If you restart plasmashell with `plasmashell --replace`, does the issue go away?

just one

yes desktop is displayed again. but if i close konsole then it disappaears again.


this problem occurs with every users.

Yeah, that's because plasmashell is running as a child of the terminal window. `systemctl restart --user plasma-plasmashell.service` will avoid this.

Do you have multiple screens when this happens on X11, or only one?
