SUMMARY
It's not easy to remember all the shortcuts, even the ones I had set after some time. There already is an "Export" button, but it only exports the shortcuts in a machine-friendly format for import purposes. It includes all the empty shortcuts.

How about adding "cheat sheet pdf" to the existing type "Shortcut Scheme"? If the user chooses this, it will save the shortcuts as a PDF file like this: https://code.visualstudio.com/shortcuts/keyboard-shortcuts-linux.pdf

I am thinking that should be a different application that maybe consumes the export data and turns them into a cheat sheet. The functionality seem way out of scope for the shortcuts management module.

I agree. It's a cool idea, but somewhat out of scope for the settings page. Maybe it would make sense to expand the scope though?
