I can confirm this behavior. It would be very convenient if the possibility existed to collapse (or expand) all categories in the effects list similar to what is possible with the tracks: Shift+LMB to collapse/expand all branches of the effects tree. |
Created attachment 176596 [details] Before and After Effects Search SUMMARY Searching in the effects list causes much of the tree to expand and there's no (easy) way to collapse it. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enter, for example, a 'b' in the effects search box 2. Note that the entire tree expands OBSERVED RESULT 1. The tree is expanded (the degree depends upon the search term match) 2. Clear the search box 3. The tree does not collapse making scrolling rather tedious EXPECTED RESULT 1.
