'stamping' page numbers on pages.
I personally rare if ever need it, but I know that in legal documents it's common to want a feature like this.

So the things you should be able to do:

- **Select Style:** Let users choose a style for their Bates numbers, like "Exhibit 1 Case XYZ 000001". This helps keep things organized and professional.

- **Customize Style:** Allow users to tweak the style to fit their needs. They should be able to set prefixes, suffixes, and the starting number. This flexibility is key for different document types.

- **Location on Page:** Give options for where the Bates number appears on the page, like header center, footer right, etc. This makes sure the numbers don't interfere with the document's content.

- **Numbering Options:** Users should be able to set where the numbering starts and how it continues across multiple files. This is crucial for maintaining order in large document sets.

- **Document Margins:** Offer the choice to leave margins unchanged or increase them if needed. This ensures the Bates numbers fit nicely without messing up the layout.

- **Font and Size:** Let users pick the font and size for the Bates numbers. This helps match the document's style and ensures readability.

- **Customize Result Names:** Allow users to set custom names for the output files, like "bates_stamped_". This helps keep track of processed files easily.

Adding these features would make Karp even more powerful for users who need to manage large sets of documents efficiently!
