Description Luke Horwell 2024-12-12 16:14:35 UTC
SUMMARY

When looking at the "Details" tab for a media file in Dolphin, the "Dimensions" numbers is erroneously displayed with a comma, which is quite unusual for media files. For example, "1,920 × 1,080" is displayed instead of "1920 x 1080".

See also: BUG 488639. Gwenview's title bar is also affected and was identified to be due to i18n changes. Perhaps the function is prettifying integers but is undesired in this scenario?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right click a media file → Properties.
2. Go to "Details" tab.
3. Read the value of the "Dimensions" field.

OBSERVED RESULT
The dimensions are displayed with a comma, like "1,920 × 1,080"

EXPECTED RESULT
The dimensions are displayed as "1920 × 1080"
