Not possible to redirect Sound output when previewing/playing video files or any other file containing sound.

The sound channel in use when starting up digiKam 8.5.0 continues to be used regardless of efforts to redirect the sound to another target sound device, i.e. switching from speakers to headphones. If you what to change this you need to close digiKam, chose another target sound device and then restart digiKam.
