SUMMARY
Searching files with asterisk or question marks in Windows returns no files.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I have two files AAA-BBB.txt and AAA_BBB.txt that I want to get search finds them.
2. CTRL+F and in search box type in AAA*BBB or AAA?BBB

OBSERVED RESULT
No files are listed.

EXPECTED RESULT
I expect both files AAA-BBB.txt and AAA_BBB.txt to be listed in both search cases.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I actually use 24.07.70, but this selection is not available in bug reporting selection.

I also tested on today's master latest Dolphin version dolphin-master-4933-windows-cl-msvc2022-x86_64.exe but this version is even more broken, search does not wok at all. It produces file protocol error, that I have already reported few months ago: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=492453

Can confirm the issue.

However for me, when I search in parent folder of the folder where those files reside in, it works.
But if I search directly from home folder it doesnt work.
