SUMMARY
When i become a new notification in the past it pops up on the lower right side of the screen and then travels into the notification area (The bell lower right) and then i can remove it there or let it stay.

But now the notification pops up on the lower right and after it vanished there is no "saved" notification in the notification app (Symbol with the bell).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Get a notification, maybe a new e-mail or a finished download
2. look at the bell, there is nothing.
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
I won't show notifications any more (They pop up but are not saved)

EXPECTED RESULT
The notification pops up and then it went into the menu with the bell symbol.

Cannot reproduce with git master on Qt 6.8.0, FWIW.

I tried with a new clean user and there is the same error, don't know what is wrong there, like i said it first happened after the Update to qt-6.8.1 and plasma-6.2.4.

I can't reproduce this either, with 6.2.4 or git-master. I have notifications from earlier today and from previous days

I have updated to plasma 6.2.5 and frameworks 6.10.0, same Problem, even after using a clean profile.

This is likely a packaging problem. If applications.menu is broken, notifications can't be saved .

I have to add something, when i download something in firefox the notification gets saved, it looks like not every program is affected.

Since i use Plasma 6.3.3 the notifications are shown as before, so this bug can be closed.
