In general this is the use case that Activities is envisioned for, not Virtual Desktops. Virtual Desktops are purely about getting more space for windows. Even if we make this about per-activity customization of effects, I very much doubt it will be implemented as it's too specific. But we'll see. We're not doing this at a KDE level. It's not just the implementation but also presenting settings to the user in a way that's vaguely comprehensible. What does exist is a hook to run user scripts when an activity changes. You can run qdbus org.kde.KWin /Effects org.kde.kwin.Effects.unloadEffect loadEffect respectively. |
