My system info: Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.12.2-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 32 × AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core Processor Memory: 30.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 550 / 550 Series Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Product Name: B650 GAMING X AX V2 Seems to be related to a bug with Mesa 24.3.1: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/12253 I also have the same issue in OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. Downgrading Mesa to 24.3.0 or using X11 fixes the issue for me. The problem was solved by downgrading the mesa package |
Created attachment 176401 [details] journalctl output The system boots, then sddm leads to a black screen under Wayland. Only X11 works at this time. I attach part of the journalctl text output after logging out from the session and switching from X11 to Wayland
