Terribly sorry. It turns out I have changed DP proto in monitor settings from 1.2 to 1.1 after recent update where Plasma refused to load ... closing this report. |
SUMMARY 3840x2160@60 Hz refresh rate no longer available in kscreen-doctor or monitor settings, only 30 Hz. Before recent updates 3840x2160@60 was available. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Attempt to pick 3840x2160@60 2. No possibility to pick 3840x2160@60 3. 3840x2160@30 only available OBSERVED RESULT Plasma defaults to lower resolution by auto-detection - 2560x1440@60. This is unexpected behaviour. It worked good in older releases. EXPECTED RESULT Possibility to pick 3840x2160@60 resolution.
