SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. get a drawing tablet
2. keybind a command+Z to undo
3. try to draw and use undo.

OBSERVED RESULT
It will undo, but the drawing tool will change to a colour picker since it's made to have a shortcut 'command'. so when we press a butoon that says to the computer: hey, press command and Z sumoltanimously; it will undo, since the shortcut is command+z, and it will select a color picker tool, since it's keybind is command. if there was something keybidden to z it would select as well.

EXPECTED RESULT
look up.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS: Sonoma 14.6.1
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
a possible solution would be to let people make keybinds of their own in krita. like keybind the undo not to command+z, but make it possible to keybind it to option+z for example. OR CHANGE THE PICKER TOOL O BE SOMETHING ELSE THAT DOESN"T USE COMMAND BUTTON!! ESPECIALLY SINCE THE APP TELLS YOU IT"S KEYBID TO P! NOWHERE DOES IT SAY IT IS ALSO KEYBID TO COMMAND! I HAD TO SEARCH ON THE WEB TO FIND OUT!

This is a place to report issues with Krita's code that can be fixed, not a user support database. Krita allows you already to reassing shortcuts and keybindings. Please read the manual (docs.krita.org) or ask fellow Krita users on krita-artists.org.
