As a user, 
I have enabled audio thumbnails in the project preferences
The timeline header preferences

Result - Audio waveforms appear on 1 of my tracks (wav file) but not on a 2nd track from a pre-edited audio only sequence.
Note: I pre-edited the audio sequence and the audio thumbnails showed fine, 
When I add that audio only sequence to the timeline, audio thumbnails do not appear even when checking  all the on/off switches.

The audio dropped out in the middle because I was sharing a resource as well, there was a crash (live) when enabling and disabling the audio waveforms

I just copy/paste from 1 sequence to another. Waveforms appear.
However, when I drag the sequence from the bin, waveforms are still missing.

Very bizarre

Audio waveform of timeline sequences is not implemented yet. We are in the process of completely rewriting the audio thumbnails code, so hopefully this can be implemented for the next april 25 release.
