We have done a bit of improvement here due to land in Plasma 6.3. Ultimately all such errors originate with the packaging system itself, not Discover. It's a shame they tend to emit useless, non-sense sounding error messages like this. |
Created attachment 175976 [details] Discover showing error (it were from a flatpak package error) Hi, Recently I tried to update my flatpak packages with Discover in my normal update process. The flatpak packages were failing with a error. Discover alerts about that errors too, but Discover don't report was source of package are the origin disconcerting the user about that. It's mean that the user can't know about the guilty of the error. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Update system with Discover 2. (If you have errors) Discover shows error but not the source package of origin EXPECTED RESULT Discover must show error and package name and source (flatpak, native, snap...) of the error.
