Description Frederic Heem 2002-10-24 19:10:17 UTC
Version:            (using KDE Devel)
Installed from:    Compiled sources
OS:          Linux

After a project is created, I click on "Build", then gideon says "There is no makefile and no configure, should I run automake and friends ?", but it fails because there is no makefile:
 cd /user/fheem/source/hellopcpp && gmake -k
 gmake: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
 *** Exited with status: 2 ***
I have to manually execute "make -f Makefile.cvs".

Actually, the problem occurs when creating an application of type "Application
Framework", it works fine for "Application Framework (KPARTS)".
By the way generating an app of type c,C++,gnome and Kdevelop Part fail for
various reasons.

I'm not able to reproduce this problem on my system. Gideon runs make -f Makefile.cvs for
me. Can you grab a copy from cvs and try it again?

It's already a version from cvs.

It depends on the application generated, the one I've tried is a simple kde
application.

Comment 6 Frederic Heem 2002-10-30 18:51:25 UTC
It does work with kde3.1Beta2, autoconf-2.13 and automake1.6
