I'm running Kate under Wayland/Gnome on Debian-Testing. The .appimage does not load at all. It fails with a mesa error (libEGL_mesa.so.0 undefined symbol of wl_display_create_queue_with_name). It works under X11, but I need it to work under Gnome's wayland too.
