"Dynamic screen/icon/scaling adapter"

I'd like a feature that, if enabled, whenever the user changes resolution/connects external monitors, the icon size AND screen scaling tries to match the previous screen 1:1.

This would be most useful for notebook/handheld PCs that get connected/docked to external monitors with a massive difference in resolution/icon/scaling size.

It would be nice to have profiles containing each setting saved for each monitor/TV.

Panel size, non-maximized window size, scaling of compatible apps' UIs, etc.

This is another example of a big project that's not really feasible to track on bugzilla.

It's also not really feasible even to do; resolution and scale are stored per-screen, not per-screen arrangement. This is intentional; we tried in the past but it was simply too buggy and unpredictable for users, so we had to remove it. Bringing it back and extended it to even more settings would multiple those already-basically-unsolvable problems. So I'm afraid we can't do this, sorry.
