This could be a caching issue. Can you switch your Plasma theme to something else and then back? Let me know if that fixes it. I did but doesn't solve the problem In that case, this does seem to be a GPU-related regression, unfortunately. Created attachment 175423 [details] menues without highlight SUMMARY Most widgets do not show the highlighting on mouseover I am not sure but it seems to me that it started with the upgrade to Mesa 24.2.6 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Move the mouse cursor over an item, e.g. menus OBSERVED RESULT See attached screenshot. The same happens in all other widgets (e.g. calendar, battery, etc.) except the global menu. The problem affects both X11 and Wayland.
