SUMMARY
In the menu to choose the cipher (with CryFS), the default option is marked "Use the default cipher", with no indication of what the default cipher actually is. I think something like  "<name of cipher>  (default)" would be more informative.

Oops, forgot to mention this is in the last step in the wizard to create a new vault.
