When I say "other application, I mean another x window (not the application within the konsole window) Shift-Insert pastes the clipboard. It's Ctrl-Shift-Insert which pastes the selection. |
Version: 1.1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.0.2) Installed from: FreeBSD Ports OS: FreeBSD 0. Open konsole 1. Open some other application like kword (or emacs) 2. Select text in kword 3. Change focus to konsole and type Shift-Insert. Result: Does not paste selection. (Middle mouse does paste the selection) I recently upgraded from kde 2.2.1 which does not have this problem. Two friends' desktops demonstrated the same problem. Some other things to try, 1. Select text in konsole 2. Type shift-insert Result: Does insert selection as expected.
