We have some issues with version 24.08.2. Please go back to version 24.08.1. -> https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/24.08/windows/ Does the version 24.08.1 solve your issues? I manage to fix it but it's annoying that I couldn't noticed until now. I was doing the "Install just for me" instead of "Install for anyone using this computer" which made me unable to use the software. I'm not sure why it's like how it is since it took me a while to understand the issue. But at least I can tell how to fix it in some cases. Thank you for your feedback. If you install Kdenlive “Install just for me”, then it installs Kdenlive just on your user account and it cannot run properly. Unfortunately, we cannot change the installer itself so it gives always these 2 choices. Hope it works now and you can start editing. I closed this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number. (In reply to emohr from comment #3) > Thank you for your feedback.
