Description Yannick Bruneau 2024-10-20 16:35:26 UTC
This is a feature request.

Could it be possible to have the same zoom feature as the macOS dock ?
In the dock settings, the user can choose to activate a zoom effect on icons/content of the dock when the mouse cursor is above.

This is not something we intend to add.

Sadly.
Latte Dock had this feature (magnify dock / zoom effect) , but the project is not maintened, and not ported to KDE Plasma 6.
So, i understand you disagree to have that feature added to the main plasma panel settings and that if one wants it, he shoud create a custom panel or extension/widget/add-on on top. Is that correct ?

Can we close this bug if we're not going to implement the feature?
