SUMMARY
From one of the latest updates when I open KRunner it contains the latest text I have selected anywhere. Not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but it is extremely annoying because it forces me to clear the input field every time I want to perform an action (use the calculator, open an app, ...).

KRunner: 6.6

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select text in any app
2. Open KRunner

OBSERVED RESULT
The input field contains the selected text

EXPECTED RESULT
The input field is empty

krunner has two shortcuts, one opens with clipboard contents, one without.

Please check your setup in the shortcuts settings page.

Thanks. My mistake. Indeed the shortcut was set wrongly, never noticed the one to open with clipboard contents.
