I don't like to group my mails by thread since that would make me scroll too much in my mailbox, but it would be very nice if there were "next in thread" and "prev in thread" buttons in the header (optional) just like in those mailinglist archives.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
