Is this seen on both X11 and Wayland, or only one? *** Bug 495191 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 495607 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 495012 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** From other bug reports reported by the same person, it affects the system with Powerdebil 6.2 0r later with DDC active. *** Bug 495456 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** STILL a bug in powerdevil 6.2.4 same fault, still a bug -- Hello? I'm sorry we weren't able to figure this out yet. Can you check and see if it's still an issue in Plasma 6.3.5 or later? Thanks! Created attachment 181116 [details] attachment-3588040-0.html For some reason I do not understand, powerdevil 6.3.4 works with an Arco Linux install. Powerdevil v6.3.4 on endeavourOS had the same problem and I switched over to Arco. — now Arco Linux is ending, but continued to work with powerdevil v 6.3.5. Just too many hardware variables to beta test on, I suppose. Created attachment 181251 [details] attachment-1368716-0.html I did not report the issue resolved. I allowed powerdevil v 6.3.4 to install on endeavourOS and had same black screen issue. Then I installed Arco Linux and KDE plasma with 6.3.4 and it worked. I have not tested 6.3.5 on EOS. POWERDEVIL 6.3.4 defaults to a black screen on both cachyOS and EOS. It ran okay in an Arco Linux install ONLY. If you can't reproduce the original issue anymore, I don't think we have any other options but to consider it resolved. Created attachment 181308 [details] attachment-1983041-0.html * "but to consider it resolved" * Fair enough. Apparently it was just my combination of components in this PC that allowed the bug to happen. ...or someone stumbled upon a solution and kept it to themselves. smile On Wed, May 14, 2025 at 10:56 AM Nate Graham < bugzilla_noreply_at_kde.org_garybig@duck.com> wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=494899 > > --- Comment #12 from Nate Graham <nate@kde.org> --- > If you can't reproduce the original issue anymore, I don't think we have > any > other options but to consider it resolved. > > -- > You are receiving this mail because: > You reported the bug. |
