Cannot reproduce with today's git master. Are you still able to? If so, do any other widgets exhibit the same issue, or is it just Power & Battery? I can still see this here. BTW, is there a anywhere a description what to remove in order to start with clean plasma session without any customization? Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20241130 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0 Qt Version: 6.8.0 Kernel Version: 6.11.8-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 20 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700H Memory: 62.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics Manufacturer: TUXEDO Product Name: TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro Gen8 (MK1) I'm also not able to reproduce on today's git-master The easiest way to test Plasma with defaults is to create a new user and try to replicate with it. Can you replicate with a new user? Here, the status is always re-set to "shown when relevant" after log-out/log-in. This also happens with a new user. I am using the respective snapshots from the unstable repos for frameworks/plasma, apps and extras. again: Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20241210 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.11.8-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 20 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700H Memory: 62.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics Manufacturer: TUXEDO Product Name: TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro Gen8 (MK1) I've been seeing this with the Media Player widget, which I set to Disabled. Occasionally, it forgets that. So it seems like this is a general issue with the System Tray whereby sometimes it fails to save or remember user visibility preferences. not seen anymore for quite a while |
