SUMMARY

It would be nice if you could drop folders on the titles to add them to Places. For example when adding a remote folder location, it would be natural to drop them on top of the "Remote" title. When dropping a folder on the "Remote" title, dolphin considers it as a forbidden place to drop it and you're unable to drop it in between Remote and Network. Dropping a folder on the "Places" title acts the same as dropping it on Home, as in Dolphin tries to move the folder there. "Recent" title acts similarly and tries to copy the folder into the Recent Files protocol. "Devices" title acts as another forbidden area.

I would like to unify the behavior so that dropping a folder on any of the titles creates a shortcut.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect to a remote server
2. Drag a folder the "Remote" title

OBSERVED RESULT
The action is forbidden

EXPECTED RESULT
Dropping a folder here creates a shortcut

It seems reasonable to change the behavior in the Places pane so that dragging a folder over the "Remote" title would add it as the last item in that category
