Description Daniel K 2024-10-08 09:55:23 UTC
SUMMARY
after scanning a lot of pictures include face detection, there is the function to confirm the pictures.
if you go in this area and change the name in the textfield, then this will also changed for the other found pictures, if i dont change it back.
this happens also after detecting faces in general. pls fix this on this way, that name to check = the name of person who is detected on this picture not the last edited name.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. scan for faces
2. going with mouse on one face into the textfield
3. in the textfiels appears the last enterd name not the name of the detectet person
4. change this to the correkt name
5. repeat at point 2 ..

OBSERVED RESULT
last entered name is in the textfield

EXPECTED RESULT
displaying name of detectet person

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 8.4.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
option : for confirming add a general button to confirm selectet to the detectet name- without entering name (take name from group)

Gilles and Maik,
Is there a way we can have different tag behaviors depending on the view? If the user is in People->Unknown then the most recently used tag value should be used for the next tag. If the user is in People->[Specific Person], when the user changes the tag value for one unconfirmed image, the suggested value for other unconfirmed images should not change, and still have the [Specific Person] value.

Daniel's issue has happened to me many times, and I think it's a great idea and needed.

Cheers,
Mike

Yes, we should know which mode we are in because we have different buttons. I will look into it.
