Description aplatypus 2024-10-03 15:00:50 UTC
This is Android, I have no access to diagnostic information.

SUMMARY

KDE Connect v1.32.3, v1.32.4 as currently available from F-Droid and Google Playstore for Android Crash almost every time used.

I have installed v1.32.2 which works acceptably.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Upgrade or install KDE Connect on Android from Playstore or FDroid
2. Launch KDE Connect -- do something like refresh conenctions

OBSERVED RESULT

* App exist (no message)

EXPECTED RESULT

* Expect work normally as version: 1.32.2

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

* I actually have about eight Android devices using KDE Connect. I have rolled back the ones that I have upgraded past v1.32.2 to use v1.32.2.

* I hate that I need to reconnect to all my devices again after uninstalling KDE Connect to "roll-back".

* Can we have an option to preserve/backup the "current configuration" before uninstalling the app and a "restore" from backup after installing a new version.

* Also please note that the actual KDE Connect version I see in PlayStore and F-Droid are NOT represented on this bugzilla page.
